Wax On Wax Off – infamous part in the Karate Kid film. And so it is with your clothing layers all day as soon as you leave the tent. You can’t ski too hot, you sweat, you become dehydrated and your sweat turns to ice.
When you stop for anything longer than a minute you start to freeze.
So all day its ….. layers on, layers on layers off layers on layer off ….
- nose starts freezing adjust your scarf
- chin starts freezing move your second jacket up to cover it
- your little fingers start freezing you stop and thaw out, change gloves and change head gear
- zips up, zips down, zips up, zips down and down
- every day you make over 100 adjustments to your gear
Song of the day: ”Kung Fu Fighting” - Carl Douglas … http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhUkGIsKvn0
Kirls you nailed it with your playlist – live music at the basement, brings back some great memories hey Sheppy.
Thanks for your kind wishes.
