South 82 27.954 West 79 23.681
Distance: 13.6 nautical miles
Time: 9.5 hours
Weather: 15-20 knot head winds, minus 40 wind chill and I better get used to it as the forecast is the same over the next 3 days.
Snow: Extremely suprising that I covered the distance today as the first 5 hours were very tough and felt I was going nowhere
Today is the Magnets Christmas Party.
What started as a group of mates who formed a bond back at Uni it is hard to believe that 28 years that we have become a tribe. The boys found wives, then came the children and what a delightful bunch they are.
The holiday home works a treat and the bond forming between the kids ensures the magnet tribe will live long after its founders.
Merry Christmas to you all and have a great day. Unfortunately I am a long way away but the George’s will be represented by Nicole, Chloe, Harry and little Mitchell. Give them a cuddle for me and when they cuddle you back part of that wil be from me.
Song of the Day: Our Uni Band - Black Magnets – was probably one of the worst bands of all times….but gee we had lots of fun. Our theme song included our namesake sung to the Batman theme song which goes on and on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qP-NglUeZU
Friends are a huge part of what matters.
