Merry Christmas to all of you in Australia.  What a wonderful day to celebrate the joy of giving with not only presents but lots of love.  It is actually Christmas Eve my time (I am 14 hours behind you) but thoughts are with you as I keep climbing up the hills and mountains all day.
Lots of mixed emotions as you would expect especially missing the wonder and joy of my 3 children when I they see what Santa has left them under the tree.
I could feel the excitement when I called them but nothing take the place of being there.
There is never a perfect time to do a journey like this and missing christmas was something I was dreading….and Nicole, it won’t happen again.
The song that is taking a really hold on especially as I climb.  When I heard it today emotions overwhelmed me.
They were all positive emotions but they just didn’t replace the cuddles I wanted to do.
In this song there is a line saying “sometimes I am going to have to lose”……this is one of those times.
If I could change one line in the song it would be the last one.  Other than the unknown, I intend to reach my dream
The song is Stan Walker’s “The Climb”  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N3GYWJCkJcHave a listen it is a great song
Merry Christmas to you all
