Distance: 15.9nautical miles
Elevation 2771m
Time: 10 hours
Weather minus 20 but not much wind today
Snow:  yep!
Hurrah I am at 89 degrees so only one more degree to go
Keeping the blog simple today as Nicole is away for a night with good friends to have a break (although I don’t think Mitchell made it a break for anyone), so am making it easier for her to load my blog material remotely.
Anyhow I feel like one of those toy rabbits in the battery ads which just keeps going day in day out.
And I will just keep going on and on until I get there.

Good on you mate, not far now – no doubt about you, every day similar distance. Aus declared at 4/659 Clarke 329 no, Hussey 150 no. India 2/114 in 2nd Inn at stumps on 3rd Day. Can’t believe Tezza caught 7 fish today!! Must have used his shotgun??? Richmond training the house down – best pre-season ever – never been fitter! Cheers

BACK AT WORK AND FIGHTING THE URBAN SASTRUGI. DIFFERENCE IS I’M NOT DOING IT BY MYSELF, IN MINUS TEMP’S, WHITEOUTS, GALE FORCE WINDS OR WITHOUT ALCOHOL!
Less than1 degree to go. Dosen’t sound much but what a difference 1 degree makes. Stay strong & travel fast.

Hi mate, thanks for your call on Boxing Day and your kind thoughts. It certainly helped when things got tough off the coast of NSW. Keep going, every step is a step closer to achieving your amazing goal and a step closer to making it home to all the people that love you. Happy to share a cup of tea with you when you get back, however l have put aside something special for us to celebrate with as well. Say hi to the tree frog for me. Cheers.

Almost there mate. Never in doubt.decision time also on whether you ski back.Perhaps time constraints will help you with this decision.Whatever you decide safety still number one priority.Stay focussed, minimize risk and hold fast.
